Gibson steel-string version of Chet Atkins' solidbody acoustic concept, introduced in 1987, caught on quickly with rock, pop and country players, who embraced the SST's ability to produce high volume with no feedback.
This Black 1994 Chet Atkins is in fantastic condition (like new). Il looks to be unplayed and still has its protective plastic film on the electrics cover. It comes in its original brown Gibson case.
I was very pleasantly surprised at how good this guitar sounded unplugged and even more pleased at the sound when plugged in. It is fitted with an active pickup with three controls for volume, treble and bass.
All in all a very flexible guitar and great for gigging.
